Anonymous asked: Caesar Milan's techniques work on some dogs, but not sensitive ones. He's very old school. What pisses me off the most is his assumption that dogs don't love or feel positive emotions, which is very steeped in old Catholic ideology and has been disproved by modern biology.

Many well known animal welfare/rights organizations have spoken out against Millan and his methods, including the ASPCA, HSUS, AVSAB, APDT, etc etc. I will send you a fan mail with many links that talk about how extremely wrong this glorified dog groomer is. He does NOT understand dog behavior.
irejectyour-reality asked: Cesar Millan uses outdated and ABUSIVE methods (flooding, "alpha" rolling, kicking, etc) to "rehabilitate" dogs. The truth is, he just shuts the dogs down. Many of the dogs he has "saved" have been made worse, and plenty of them have either been rehomed or euthanized after the taping.
